Viu Premium Service Pack Terms and Conditions

1. This Viu Premium Service Pack is one of the service packs under the Entertainment Pack available on Club SIM, a service provided by us, CSL Mobile Limited (CSL). The Viu service / application (“Viu Service”) under this Viu Premium Service Pack is provided by PCCW OTT (Hong Kong) Limited (“PCCW OTT”) . By downloading, installing, subscribing to and/or accessing the Viu Premium Service Pack and Viu Service, you agree to be bound by the Club Sim General Terms and Conditions (please see: www.clubsim.com.hk) and the terms and conditions of any third party and suppliers, including the Viu Terms and Conditions (please see: https://www.viu.com/ott/hk/zh-hk/copyright-statement/terms-and-conditions ).
2. To use this Viu Premium Service Pack, you must download the Club Sim and Viu applications onto your mobile phones or tablet devices. Those applications may only be used on certain models of mobile phones and tablet devices. Before you use this Viu Premium Service Pack, please check and ensure that your device connected to this Viu Premium Service Pack is compatible.
3. The validity period of this Viu Premium Service Pack is one month from the date of your initial activation or subsequent subscription (as the case may be).
4. If the auto-renewal function under this Viu Premium Service Pack is activated on your device, the Viu Premium Service Pack will be automatically renewed on a monthly basis upon expiry of the validation period until you turn off the auto-renewal function. The monthly charge payable will be automatically paid by your designated credit card.
5. When your local data usage used in this Viu Premium Service Pack plus any other service packs under your Viu Premium Service reaches 100GB, you can continue to use the mobile data service without speed throttling. However, you will be allocated with less network resources for access subject to the prevailing network conditions and your service experiences may be affected.
6. Downloaded videos can be retained by the Viu app for seven (7) days (or such other period as PCCW OTT may designate from time to time) only.
7. Video quality under this Viu Premium Service Pack depends on the quality of the signal received. Some locations might not have stable signal coverage, which could lead to reception problems. If this persists, please check your mobile data service or Wi-Fi settings.
8. The content of the Viu Service is only available for viewing in Hong Kong and cannot be viewed outside of Hong Kong.
9. CSL Mobile Limited (CSL) and PCCW OTT disclaim all responsibility, liabilities, damage and losses arising from or in connection with any failure, delays, interruptions, failures, erosion, disruptions, restrictions and obligations derived from informational errors in connection with the Viu Premium Service Pack, the Viu Service and any content and services provided thereunder and their delivery.
10. CSL Mobile Limited (CSL) and PCCW OTT do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and timeliness of any content under the Viu Service and their delivery. The risks of using and reliance on any content under the Viu Service are solely on you and any user of the Viu Service. You acknowledge that you use this Viu Premium Service Pack and the Viu Service at your own risk, and neither CSL Mobile Limited (CSL) nor PCCW OTT will be liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance upon this Viu Premium Service Pack or the Viu Service. The content under the Viu Service does not constitute any opinion of CSL Mobile Limited (CSL) or PCCW OTT.
11. You shall not, nor permit any other person, to sell, reproduce, copy, distribute, broadcast, transmit, re-transmit, modify nor exploit this Viu Premium Service Pack or the Viu Service, nor any content thereunder by any means, nor reverse engineer any content consisting of downloadable software.
12. All services and content under this Viu Premium Service Pack and the Viu Service are only for your personal viewing and access only. You shall not, nor permit any other person, to show, play, use, access, nor view those services and content for any public or commercial purpose at any location.
13. CSL Mobile Limited (CSL) and PCCW OTT reserve the right to edit, change, withdraw and/or withhold any content on Viu Service at any time, without prior notice nor giving any reason.
14. You shall be bound by such additional terms and conditions promulgated by CSL Mobile Limited (CSL) or PCCW OTT . We or PCCW OTT may amend any provisions of this Viu Premium Service Pack Terms and Conditions and/or the Viu Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing an updated version on any Club Sim and/or PCCW OTT websites or mobile app. By continuing to use the Viu Premium Service Pack, you will be deemed to accept the updated Viu Premium Service Pack Terms and Conditions and/or the Viu Terms and Conditions, and be bound by them.
